Novedades Agrícolas through its international division APR Greenhouses & Technology, has been responsible for the construction, equipping, commissioning and maintenance of installations for intensive tomato growing in the Turkish province of Denizli (Western Anatolia).
The greenhouse reaches a total area of 11.5 hectares. The construction has been executed in two phases over one year.
To ensure the best results, reduce costs and improve production, they have been used the most advanced irrigation and XILEMA® fertigation systems for hydroponics growing, humification, CO2, climate control CLIMATEC®, collection & disinfection of drainage, and heating.
One of the most remarkable features is the reinforced for gutters hangers, the culture is made on suspended channels using the hot water surplus of textile factories.
Thanks to this project, APR is able to provide solutions to the needs of a wide profile of small and large farmers and fits the demands of a global economy.
