Second Skin

To make sure the greenhouse is clean every year before replanting, cleaning protocols have become considerably more rigorous in recent years. It’s important that the cultivation system is aligned with these hygiene practices, without this resulting in a labour-intensive procedure and lots of waste every year. 

Metazet has a solution; Second Skin. This specially developed and patented plastic top layer completely encloses and shields the cultivation gutter. This hard, preformed material does not fold, so good drainage is guaranteed. The finish of Second Skin is incredibly smooth, so algae and fertilizer can barely adhere to it. The lifespan of the top layer is comparable to that of steel gutters, and it’s resistant to high-pressure cleaners and all common cleaning agents.
