Impeller
Our FE3owlet is a unique, biomimetic blade design that offers unparalleled performance. 

The combination of several biomimetic aspects, including the adaptation of essential findings from the wing shape of nocturnal barn owls (serrated trailing edge, profiled, sickle-shaped wing) represents an unprecedented approach. ZIEHL-ABEGG engineers have developed a unique, biomimetic wing design with unbeatable impeller performance. This results in an extremely efficient flow behaviour.

Housing
The 450 mm ZAplus housing allows for optimal air flow. The smart ventilation system offers significantly higher levels of performance in terms of airflow, air throw, efficiency and acoustics. The ZAplus housing is made of high-performance composite material in RAL 9010 “pure white” and interacts in perfect harmony with the brand new FE3owlet blade, thanks to the integrated guide vanes and short diffuser on the pressure side.

Motor
ECblue motors offer customers the opportunity to reduce their energy consumption to a minimum. ECblue motors fulfil all relevant EU energy efficiency directives. The efficiency level of the inbuilt EC072 is another highlight, with the motor efficiency exceeding 82%, above the minimum required by the IE5 class (Super Premium Efficiency).

The active temperature management allows a constant and reliable operating performance over the entire lifetime.
