Protected from wind, rain, draught and heat

5 March 2025 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide |

Windows allow daylight and fresh air to enter livestock buildings. But this advantage also has disadvantages. Windows also allow wind, rain, draught and hot sunlight to enter. Cover Wind protective covers can help prevent this. These covers are installed above the openings/windows/air inlets on the outside of the building. The Cover Wind is particularly effective in providing protection against wind and rain. Without the cover wind and rain could easily enter the building.

The double-wall PVC frame ensures good stability and also offers superior protection against heat and cold compared with similar single-wall models. The Cover Wind can optionally be supplied with blackout slats, which can also be retrofitted. A space has already been created in the left of the housing for this purpose.
