Improved control of barn curtains

29 January 2025 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide |

Creating an optimal environment for your cattle in the barn requires optimal ventilation. The Bo-air-touch-CL from Stienen Bedrijfselektronica is a new, vastly improved curtain controller for barns. The clear touch screen operation distinguishes this unit from other controllers available on the market. It is suitable for all types of curtain control and can be connected directly.

The Bo-air-touch-CL also has options for circulation control and weather station connection and features heating and/or cooling control. The new, innovative Bo-Air CL climate computer enables you to effectively control your curtains and ensure optimum fresh air flows in your barn. An optional weather station provides weather-dependent operation of your barn curtains. Adding a weather station enables you to respond immediately to the current weather conditions. You can adjust the position of the curtains in anticipation of changing weather to maintain an optimal climate in the barn. Data from the weather station can optionally be shared with multiple controllers.

Another option is to add FarmConnect farm software. This software collects all current and historical data of all control computers on your farm, combines the data and then presents it in clear overviews, graphs and tables. FarmConnect gives you access to your farm data. Wherever you are, you are always connected to your farm so you can intervene immediately if necessary.
