Sustainable CO₂ for the Horticultural Industry

Greenhouses increasingly face two critical challenges: reducing CO₂ emissions while maintaining a steady supply of CO₂ for plant growth. Our Galloxol® Technology offers an innovative solution by capturing CO₂ from sources such as CHP units, biomass boilers, and geothermal plants. This high-purity CO₂ can then be reused in greenhouses to enhance crop yields or diverted for industrial uses like food, beverage, and dry ice production.

Unlike conventional amine-based systems, Galloxol® uses a fully biodegradable, eco-friendly solvent, ensuring:

• FNXP LNG (Italy) — full capture solution.
• EmsFlower GmbH (Germany) — flue gas pre-conditioning.

A major ongoing project with Merschl Gartenbau GmbH (Vienna) will integrate Galloxol® with a biomass boiler to reduce reliance on fossil CO₂ and gas, with launch expected in late 2025.
