Now is the moment to check your heating systems and adjust ventilation settings to match the lower temperatures.
The ideal time to switch your ceiling ventilation from summer to winter mode is usually between October 1st and November 1st.
At our own pig farms, we use a practical checklist to ensure everything is ready for winter. In spring, we repeat the process in reverse.
