The 15th International Conference & Exhibition on Green Flexible Printed Electronics Industry (ICEFPE25) and AGRIVOLTAICS 2025 are among the leading international events in the fields of Green Flexible Printed Electronics Industry and Agrivoltaics. These are organized by the Hellenic Organic & Printed Electronics Association HOPE-A, COPE-Nano | Nanotechnology Lab LTFN and International Nanotech Hub Thessaloniki (NHT) on 17 – 19 November 2025 in Athens, Greece.
Given global population growth, there’s an increasing need to enhance booth food and energy generation. However, meeting increased food demand may raise fossil fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions. REPowerEU, for example, seeks to achieve 45% renewable energy in the EU at 2030 mix and expedite PV energy adoption through an EU solar energy strategy.
Agrivoltaics is an emerging field that combines Agriculture with Solar Photovoltaics, with 3rd Generation PV, such as the flexible Semitransparent Organic Photovoltaics (OPVs), representing the most advanced and innovative solution for implementation and to enchance at the same time booth crop production and energy generation. By integrating Agrivoltaics directly into greenhouses and open-field cultivations, we can generate renewable energy without sacrificing arable land. The global Agrivoltaics market is predicted to grow from €5.2 billion in 2025 to more than €14 billion in 2034.
The use of 3rd Gen PVs, and in particular the OPVs, offers a Triple Land Use. It enhances food production, optimizes water usage, and transforms farms into clean energy hubs for autonomous, off-grid/on-grid greenhouses and open-field cultivations. Overall, Agrivoltaics offer a transformative path toward sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation, and a new model of productive landscapes worldwise across Europe and beyond.
The Conference aims to facilitate high-level scientific and technology exchanges and networking opportunities among researchers, industry leaders, and stakeholders in the fields of agriculture, photovoltaics, architecture, environmental management, and energy policy.
Topics include:
Agrivoltaics Day 3
