Brianza Plastica has expanded its Elysol range of compact polycarbonate sheets with new versions, further enhancing the selection of roofing and cladding panels in greenhouses and horticultural structures. In addition to the transparent version, Elysol is now available in opal white and opaque white, offering tailored solutions for crop light management as well as for the construction of greenhouse anterooms.

Transparent, opal and opaque sheets for targeted light transmission
In floriculture and vegetable production, both the quantity and quality of light are decisive factors for plant growth and health. The expanded Elysol range meets these requirements with three distinct solutions:
High performance for agricultural applications
In addition to offering solutions ranging from complete opacity to full transparency, Elysol stands out in all three versions for its exceptional technical performance. Compact polycarbonate provides excellent resistance to weathering, UV radiation, accidental impacts and chemical agents, ensuring long-term durability even in particularly exposed environments. Available in corrugated and ribbed profiles, Elysol sheets also offer good fire-reaction performance.

Thanks to their light weight, Elysol sheets can be easily installed on supporting structures made of wooden slats or metal profiles. Their reduced weight allows for the design of less bulky and more cost-effective supporting structures compared with those required for heavier materials such as glass.
Elysol can be easily cut using standard tools and installed with simple methods, such as overlapping adjacent corrugations or waves by at least 120 mm along the length. When drilling holes for fixing screws, it is important to use a metal drill bit and make the hole 3 mm larger than the screw diameter to account for thermal expansion of the material.
