Berg Hortimotive has expanded its AGV product range with an ergonomic pepper harvesting trolley that automatically transports peppers from the greenhouse to the packing area.
Ergonomic harvesting
The AGV harvesting trolley can be used for both high and low harvesting of peppers. The first peppers can be harvested by foot, the AGV automatically moves along with the harvester. Later in the season the peppers are harvested from the platform. The platform is adjustable in four positions, so the person harvesting always stands at the right height. This improves the ergonomics and makes the vehicle very user friendly and safe.
Tailor-made transport route
The Pepper AGV runs via induction. Berg Hortimotive has its own induction specialists to design and install all induction routes between the greenhouse and the packing area. By drilling in sensors, you can also add points to the route that will make the harvesting trolleys stop, slow down or speed up, for example. A tailor-made transport route.
Visualisation software
If required, one or more trollies can be controlled via a central controller with visualization software, so that you always know where your AGV trollies are located.
Small turning circle
The Pepper AGV trolley has a center wheel drive system . This makes an extremely small turning circle possible, which is an advantage on the concrete path and in the packing area.
Efficient logistics solution
The Pepper AGV uses induction technology to drive unmanned from the greenhouse to the unloading unit, so that the harvesting containers can be unloaded without human intervention.
