We introduced an innovative set-up for in-house production of cuttings and improved the subsequent production in the greenhouse. Today the family business benefits from more flexibility and a higher productivity without having to expand the basic infrastructure. The cuttings nursery is an enclosed vertical farm with 5 production levels within the greenhouse. The illumination gear FLEX-PRO series perfectly matching with the microclimate ensures healthy cuttings. In addition to reduced operating costs and shorter production cycles, the company now has greater flexibility in the event of short-term changes in customer purchasing behaviour and in the optimization of the product range.
