Dairymaster ModuStar: milking in the old parlour in the morning and in the new Swing-Over in the evening!

24 October 2023 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide |

Uncertainties increase the need for flexibility when purchasing a milking parlour. With the ModuStar modular parlour, Dairymaster has a solution for this.
Financially, this system can be purchased from a preferred partner through an attractive lease construction. Technically, it is possible to create a brand-new milking parlour with minimal internal adaptations to the building.

The key to the ModuStar concept is a fully prefabricated milking parlour that, with good preparation, can be installed and operational within a day. During the construction phase, no temporary solutions are required, which eases the load on the dairy farmer. With the new milking technology, the dairy farmer has a new and modern milking parlour at his disposal. In most cases, a higher capacity milking parlour can be installed, with minimum internal adaptations to the building.

The modular construction ensures a high residual value and additional financial benefits, such as an interesting lease construction. This is due to the modules being easy to disassemble, leaving the milking technology intact.

The ModuStar is a complete milking parlour that is 85% prefabricated in the factory. It has a fully galvanised frame, with integrated Dairymaster milking technology that can be installed in its entirely above the (existing) milking pit. This means that a modern and efficient ModuStar parlour can be installed in the same spot as the current milking parlour. Finally, as only minimal internal adaptations to the building are required, there is no lengthy permit process.
