Finnish GROWLIGHTENGINE® is likely the most ecologically sustainable LED grow light on the market. Only 1 kg of aluminum is used for its assembly. The final product weighs only 3,2 kg, and it consumes 290 W. 98 % of the product is recyclable.
Being a high-quality COB LED, GROWLIGHTENGINE® has advantages over SMD LEDs. COB LEDs are more compact, and their light penetrates deeper because of their stronger intensity compared to single diodes. GROWLIGHTENGINE® has a unique patented spectrum. It was designed by a group of professionals after extensive testing for the needs of all plants and growth phases. The spectrum is made with a phosphorus coating on a blue COB LED, which has the longest lifespan. This way the spectrum stays the same throughout its lifetime. A typical problem of grow lights, the short lifespan of red diodes, is avoided this way. Our LED lasts up to ten years (40 000 h) in use.
Waterproof (IP67) GROWLIGHTENGINE® has superior optics. The lens is made of borosilicate glass. All wavelengths can penetrate through it. This creates a uniform spectral distribution in the whole 120° wide light beam – as uniform as light can get. The driver unit can be positioned vertically, or to save space, horizontally next to the lamp unit. GROWLIGHTENGINE®’s flexibility has a superior feature: with an extension cable, you can place the driver unit outside the tent to minimize the heat!
Instead of narrow peaks of blue and red light, GROWLIGHTENGINE® gives a smooth combination of all wavelengths between 380-785 nm. Even though the majority of the spectrum is in the blue and red range, it’s still pleasant for humans, and even for bumblebee’s eyes – colors can be seen naturally, and the light is completely flicker-free. We call it as GROWLIGHTENGINE® spectrum. You must experience it by yourself!
