On behalf of our respected partner, Dutch Greenhouses, Huisman Screen Systems completed the renovation of the outside GreenTop® screening system in UAE last December 2023.
In 2018 we have installed at this location a double horizontal screen installation and rolling gable screens inside the greenhouse and outside the greenhouse we installed our famous GreenTop® screen installations, as well horizontal as vertical.
Since the new GreenTop® outside screen installation was installed five years ago, the outside screening system has protected valuable crops from the desert sun & sand. Being exposed to the rough elements day in and day out, it was now the time to replace and refurbish!
As well the horizontal outside screen installation as the vertical outside rolling gable screens have been renovated. Due to the good weather conditions in December, the work went perfectly and the future crops in the greenhouse will again be optimally protected in the coming years.
Greentop® outside screen installations effectively keep out the heat
Outside screen installations reduce heat development in the greenhouse with all the associated benefits. There is less need to ventilate, the CO2 management improves and additional energy will be saved. Huisman Screen Systems has developed the GreenTop® outside screen installation for placement on the ridge of the greenhouse. A big advantage is that the gutters still remain accessible for roof washers and service vehicles. The construction is lightweight that can stand heavy windloads as well. The system is as well compact, so that light interuption is minimal. Due to the lack of obstacles in the greenhouse gutters, the water drainage is not hindered and no dirt accumulation occurs. The GreenTop outside screen installation can be installed after the greenhouse is completed and glazed.
