Increase the efficiency of your livestock building with lighting by Agrilight

It has been scientifically proven that the length of the day affects the yield and the welfare of dairy cattle. For example, we know that in dairy cattle, 16 hours of daylight and 8 hours of darkness a day is ideal for increased milk production. However, it is important that the light intensity is at least 150 lux for 16 hours, followed by 8 hours of darkness (maximum 5 lux). The dairy farmer can use the red light of the AGRILED® 3 fixtures when checking the cattle at night, to avoid disrupting the biorhythms and hormone regulation of the cattle.

Cows are unable to see the colour red, whereas the red light allows people in the building to see enough. That is why Agrilight has developed a control system which enables the lighting regime to be adjusted perfectly.
