With the new ‘IRISS Defects’ module, an extension for ‘IRISS Roses’, roses with imperfections such as mildew, ball centers, crooked stems, and bent necks can now be processed automatically. IRISS Defects leverages Deep learning. 4MT provides the system with images of roses showing various defects, labeling them accordingly. The system learns to recognize patterns in these defects and trains itself to detect them, even when their appearance differs.
