Koppert starts bumblebee campaign with launch of new website

‘Not just a box of bumblebees; it’s Natupol’

It’s not just a box of bumblebees; it’s a product that offers best value for money. That is the message of the campaign ‘This is not a bumblebee. This is Natupol’ which is due to be launched by Koppert Biological Systems next week. ‘A high-performing bumblebee colony determines to a great extent the profitability of the crop. In that case, you want the best possible product too, don’t you?’

All over the world, professional growers rely on natural pollination in order to ensure the success of their crops. As the market leader for the past 25 years, Koppert supplies bumblebees for covered crops. Over the past few years, bumblebees have also been supplied to outdoor, fruit and seed producers.

Remco Huvermann, product manager for pollination at Koppert Biological Systems, is seeing an increasing need among growers to distinguish themselves by means of sustainable and reliable production and quality. ‘We support growers in the achievement of these objectives and the telling of their stories by providing insight into how our products could contribute to this. This applies to Natupol too. It is not simply about a box of bumblebees at a certain price, but rather the value and quality that this product adds for the client. You are purchasing an extra dose of certainty.’

The new website www.natupol.com explains exactly what that certainty entails. ‘By being able to supply that little extra bit of quality on all fronts, we offer clients the most worry-free concept, the most reliable pollination, and truly optimum value for money. We are able to do this on the basis of many years of experience and research,’ emphasizes Huvermann. ‘A high-performing bumblebee colony determines to a great extent the profitability of the crop. In that case, you want the best possible product too, don’t you?’

The campaign is initially being launched in the Benelux region and in southern Europe. Later this year it will be rolled out in the rest of Europa, in northern Africa, and in the Middle East.’ Further information is available at www.natupol.com. The website will be expanded over the coming months and translated into several additional languages.
