Ascania Flora is a highly professional rose grower, cultivating 35 rose varieties in 20 hectares of Venlo greenhouses. For several years now, the company has been preparing for a major expansion. Limex provided support in the design and setup of the washing facility for flower buckets and transport trolleys.
That collaboration has now resulted in a significant order: Limex has been entrusted with the full installation of the washing system. Starting next year, thousands of flower buckets and plant trolleys will be cleaned every week.
Joep Janssen, CEO of Limex:
“We’re very excited about this project for such a remarkable company. I have great respect for the drive and forward-thinking approach of the Ascania Flora team. In times of uncertainty, they’ve chosen to move ahead with a bold expansion — that says a lot about their vision and ambition.
Given that energy supply in Ukraine isn’t always guaranteed, the machines will be configured to operate on multiple energy sources.
The agreement was sealed with a firm handshake during our meeting at GreenTech in Amsterdam. All final details have since been aligned, and our team is now fully engaged in delivering the project on time.
I’m proud of the trust Ascania Flora has placed in us. It’s an honor to work with such a modern and ambitious company.”
