Livestock trailer with automatically closing rear doors

5 February 2025 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide |

The Betimax livestock trailer from Joskin has been upgraded with an innovative system that automatically and securely closes the rear door. This creates a safer situation for the user and the animals. This system is based on a 3-position lever and secures the doors from accidentally opening due to vibrations during transport, for example. The risk of damage to equipment or the animals is avoided. The system

also offers additional protection, as the user must stand behind the left door in order to  open the right door which is still locked. This eliminates the risk of being injured if an animal pushes against a door.
