Minimal loss of capacity

13 September 2023 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide | Fancom BV

To prevent wind influences within the house, the air inlets on the side of the house are shielded with wind hoods. A drawback of traditional wind hoods is the loss of capacity, necessitating the installation of additional inlets. With the new Fantura wind hood, this is no longer necessary, as the special design of the new wind hood causes minimal loss of capacity. This unique design, featuring extra side openings, prevents pressure buildup within the wind hood, thereby ensuring better functionality—up to 3 times better than traditional wind hoods. Even during strong winds directly hitting the houses side, animals won’t be affected by wind influences. The climate within the house remains stable.

The well-thought-out design is patented and will be introduced for the first time at our booth during SPACE in September. The Fantura Wind hood will be available for purchase starting from October this year.
