Opticlear Diamond 2019: enabling the zero emission greenhouse

18 December 2019 | Int. Greenhouse Guide |

The Opticlear Diamond water treatment technology for horticulture has been evolving since its first release in 2014. Five year after its introduction Water IQ rolls out their 2019 model with some major enhancements, including high tech features that are used within food & beverages industry. Head of Engineering Freddy Dekkers: “Nowadays the requirements of professional growers are not that different from the other industries we work with. Growers look for automated hands-on control and a strong reduction in water and nutrient emissions. This asks for high-tech in-line sensoring and additional automation for cleaning in place and maintenance. Our Forward Nano desalination module completes the water treatment cycle, maximizing water reusage and enabling a future of zero emission greenhouse growing. With a client base of more than 100 growers we are familiar with the challenges of modern growers and ready to take on these challenges together.”
