The renovation and expansion work of the Pedrotti cattle barn, located in the province of Reggio Emilia, continues.

The company, a point of reference in the production of Parmigiano Reggiano, has around 1000 animals and continues to invest in improving the facilities to ensure animal welfare and management efficiency.

A cutting-edge stable for animal welfare.

The stable, which extends over a surface area of 5,900 sqm, is designed to optimize the management of the different growth phases of the animals. The system includes spaces dedicated to initial weaning, the transition to collective groups with automatic feeders, the growth phase and first inseminations in boxes with permanent bedding, up to the departments for pregnant heifers on cubicles. The intervention, carried out in collaboration with the owners, aims to improve management rationality, operational efficiency and animal comfort, making this barn a reference model in the cattle breeding sector.
