Phase feeding of pigs

ACO Funki offers its new phase feeding systems for sows, weaned sows and finishers. These feeding systems use the same principle and provide the right amount of feed to the animals at exactly the right time. Phase feeding enables the feed ration to be accurately formulated to suit the nutritional needs of the pigs during various stages of growth. Tailoring the diet to match the specific nutrient needs of each growth phase helps minimise feed waste. 

Over time, this all adds up to considerable cost savings for pig farmers. Adapting the feed composition helps farmers ensure the ration is consumed more efficiently and directly contributes to the growth of the pigs, so the entire rearing process is more efficient and cost-effective. 

The ColorFeed system is easy to use and requires no additional installation of electronics or mechanical equipment. One colour corresponds to one recipe/feed blend.
