A passion for growing plants is in RED Horticulture’s DNA. Even as teenagers, founders Yassine El Qomri and Louis Golaz asked themselves: what does it take to grow a good and healthy crop? They worked on creating an environment with ideal growing conditions. Nothing seemed to be working. Knowledge of photosynthesis and electrical engineering in school was the catalyst for the development of an intelligent 4-channel (blue, green, red and far red) LED grow light designed for efficiency, flexibility and durability.
A premium grow light
The RED-T was developed and engineered based on photobiology. Equipped with top quality Cree LEDs and integrated with the latest IoT technologies. The smart design allows for easy replacement with existing fixtures. The fully extruded aluminum heat sink provides effective passive cooling, essential for light continuity. Designed with the environment in mind, the RED-T is fully demountable and recyclable. In short, a premium grow light for indoor growing environments with sustainable operations.
Performance, more than just μmol
Illuminated growing is not just about micromole counts, it’s about finding the right balance between energy efficiency, crop performance and flexibility. To enable growers to adjust lighting in real time to suit climate, daylight and crop needs, crop-specific lighting recipes make it possible to achieve pre-set cultivation objectives at the desired time. With the MyRED control system, which easily interfaces with all climate computers, growers have full control over their lighting strategy and it’s easy to see why it’s about more than just micromoles.
