Roxell announces new leadership: Steven Gunst succeeds retiring Managing Director Gino Van Landuyt

10 September 2025 | Int. Livestockhousing Guide |

Today Roxell, a leading global designer and manufacturer of automated livestock equipment systems, is announcing a leadership transition.
After more than 20 years of dedicated service, Gino Van Landuyt is retiring from his position as Managing Director.
At the same time, Steven Gunst (left) has been appointed as the new Managing Director.

Gino Van Landuyt’s career at Roxell has been marked by growth and innovation. He has been at the helm of the company for over two decades, navigating both rewarding and challenging periods at times. While he is stepping down from his leadership role at Roxell, he will remain active within the broader CTB group.

‘The time has come to shift my focus. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, picking up activities that have taken a backseat in recent years, and pursuing some personal projects’, says Gino van Landuyt. He expresses full confidence in his successor, stating, ‘I am confident he will provide stability in the leadership of the Roxell group, while offering a fresh perspective and valuable new insights to our business’.

Steven Gunst steps into the role of Managing Director from September 1 onwards. Steven has an academic background in animal management, and brings with him a broad professional experience, spanning both the livestock equipment and animal feed industries.

His diverse expertise positions him well to lead Roxell into its next chapter.
‘I’m honored to assume the role of Managing Director at Roxell and Holland Heater. Building on the strong leadership of my predecessor, I look forward to working with our employees and our valued business partners throughout the world to further strengthen our position in the market’, emphasizes Steven Gunst.

To ensure a smooth transition, Gino Van Landuyt will work closely with Steven Gunst in the coming months to hand over leadership responsibilities for both Roxell and Holland Heater. He will assist in onboarding Steven to the company’s organizational structure, products and customer relationships. This collaborative approach will help maintain the company’s forward momentum and continuity in its operations.
