The Aquaponic company SOLOS based in the Alps explains how Ambralight help them produce vegetables ( with video ! )

Visit the aquaponic company Solos, based in Bolzano Bozen Italy Sudtirol, which is using artificial LED growlight from the brand Ambralight for its high quality lettuce cultivation. One of the founders, Matheus, will guide us through the different growth phases of lettuce: first of all we will visit the growth chamber, where no sunlight enters and the whole lighting is sustained by Ambralight AE100 LED growlights. In this controlled environment plants start from seed and grow until they become tall and strong enough to be transferred outside. We move on to the greenhouse, where these plants grow in hydroponic cultivation, on floating platforms.

In here they receive water and nutrients, provided also by the fishes which are hosted in a nearby tank. In here, the natural sunlight is integrated by Ambralight growlights, so production is guaranteed also on cloudy days and on winter days. LED growlights turn on automatically when the light sensor measure a low amount of light provided to the plants. Production of lettuce is guaranteed also in winter, and the product is sold to the local market with roots also: lettuce is a living product, and this way it lasts longer and still fresh. This is the experience of the aquaponic company Solos with the technical know how of Ambralight for artificial growlights.
