Due to the limited exposure to UV light in greenhouses, crops are susceptible to fungal infections. The powerful UV-C Boom from Freshlight combats these fungi in the greenhouse.

nPlants only need to be illuminated for a few seconds, after which the fungi perish. The plants are unaffected by this process and even become stronger. UV-C light helps considerably to reduce the number of treatments against microorganisms such as mildew, thrips, botrytis and other fungi. To properly kill the fungi, it is important that the treatment is repeated a few times, with dosed light from above. The costs for this are nothing compared to the loss of turnover, if the fungi can do their job.
The C in UV-C is the most powerful piece of light there is and therefore kills fungi. Therefore, keep your distance from the lamps.
