Pioneering the path to a 100% green future

Viscon Group proudly announces the launch of EVA Scoutr, an autonomous scout robot that redefines sustainable crop protection in greenhouses. With Level 4 autonomy, Vision based AI, and intelligent software, EVA empowers growers to detect pests and diseases early, reduce crop loss, and take a major step toward a 100% green future. EVA stands for Ephemeralized Viscon Agrorobotics, reflecting Viscon’s vision of delivering high-tech and efficient robotic solutions for the agricultural sector.

Smart technology for sustainable impact
EVA Scoutr autonomously scans up to 4.5 hectares per day and can detect and localize over 15 pests, diseases and nutrient issues within 10 cm precision, under any lighting condition; daylight, LED, or nighttime. Its fully autonomous operation (Level 4) allows it to navigate, scout, and report without human intervention. EVA generates heatmaps and dashboards that give growers a clear, plant-level view of crop health and pest pressure. This enables them to act promptly, before any disease, pest, or health issue gets a chance to expand.

Why growers choose EVA Scoutr

  • Full-coverage scouting: Every plant is scanned, no corner left unchecked. Unlike traditional methods, where a small sample is inspected and the entire greenhouse is treated if an issue is found. EVA enables early, plant-level detection. This allows growers to act locally and promptly, containing issues before they spread and avoiding unnecessary treatments.
  • Early detection: AI identifies over 15 pests, diseases, viruses and nutrient deficiencies.
  • True autonomy (Level 4): EVA operates 22/7, including infrastructure less rail change and obstacle detection.
  • Actionable insights: Location-specific heatmaps and reports for targeted action.
  • Seamless integration: No additional infrastructure required; IP56-rated for greenhouse conditions.
  • Resource efficiency: Saves on labor, reduces chemical use (only applied locally where needed) and minimizes water usage through early, precise intervention.

Smart software, powerful insights
At the heart of EVA lies a powerful software platform that transforms raw data into actionable insights. EVA continuously collects high-resolution data through onboard sensors, capturing detailed information about plant health, pest presence, and exact location. AI-driven algorithms, developed with leading agri-tech partners, analyze this data to detect patterns, anomalies, and early signs of threats with unmatched precision.

Through the intuitive EVA Management Studio, growers access real-time health maps, historical trends, and weekly reports with year-over-year comparisons. They can schedule scouting tasks, monitor robot activity, and perform diagnostics remotely, enabling data-driven decisions that improve crop health, reduce losses, and support sustainable productivity. Built by Viscon, enhanced by Fermata To strengthen EVA’s capabilities, Viscon partnered with Fermata, a leading agri-tech company specializing in vision-based pest, diseases and viruses detection. Fermata brings years of experience in turning imagery into actionable insights, with more than 500,000 labeled images and early detection capabilities for over 15 pests, diseases, and viruses. Their technology is used by growers across all continents. Collaboration with Bryte EVA Scoutr is being tested and applied in practice in collaboration with Bryte. Bryte combines decades of experience with a forward-looking vision for sustainable and efficient greenhouse horticulture. By working closely with Bryte, Viscon is able to align EVA’s technology with the real-world needs of modern growers and integrate valuable practical insights into the development of autonomous scouting solutions. This partnership reflects a shared ambition to make greenhouse horticulture smarter, greener, and future-proof.

On the path to 100% green
EVA helps reduce chemical input by up to 25%, scouting labor by 50%, and crop loss by 30%. By automating repetitive and time-sensitive tasks, EVA enables growers to focus on strategy, quality, and sustainability, paving the way for a greener, more resilient food system.

Built on Viscon’s agri-tech expertise
EVA Scoutr is the result of years of innovation at the intersection of robotics, vision based AI, and horticulture. As the first in a new line of autonomous agrobotics from Viscon, EVA sets the foundation for a smarter, more efficient future in greenhouse management, aligned with Viscon’s core values of precision, sustainability, and innovation.
