nIt withstands the highest stresses such as wind, water and snow loads and thus defies all weather conditions. If it tears despite excessive tension, then it does so only at one point, not along its entire length, because its structure combines high elongation at break with high tear resistance.
The permanent anti-drip properties of NOWOGREEN ETFE prevent the accumulation of condensation above your plants and thus uncontrolled dripping: the water runs off to the side. This crucial film property is permanent and does not need to be renewed.

Inspired by the lotus blossom effect, the developers of NOWOGREEN ETFE used the low surface tension of the fluoropolymer film for its self-cleaning effect. This allows rainwater to drip off on the outside of the roof, washing off dirt particles. Due to this permanent self-cleaning effect, NOWOGREEN ETFE remains permanently translucent at over 94 percent. In addition, our special production processes ensure above-average UV transmission and thus maximum grow.
NOWOGREEN ETFE can be 100 percent recycled back into its original raw material.
Normally, the soil in the greenhouse would release the heat energy absorbed during the day at night in the form of long-wave infrared rays. However, the NOWOGREEN ETFE retains this IR radiation, thus storing the heat energy of the sun. This saves energy, especially in controlled cultivation in countries with high day/night temperature fluctuations.
With a multilayer cushion construction, the U-value can also be significantly improved.
The NOWOGREEN ETFE diffuse variant is characterized by its high light diffusion. Its haze is over 60 percent. Thus, on the one hand, this matt film prevents shadows from being cast, which would impair plant growth, and on the other hand, it allows UV rays to penetrate deeper into the plant stand, thus reducing the growth of fungi and the like.
