V10, the green solution against PepMV The natural plant protection product V10, uses cross-protection to make tomato plants resistant to possible infection by aggressive variants of PepMV. Different genotypes or strains of the PepMV virus have been defined, including EU, LP, CH2 and US1. In 2006, Valto Biocontrol set out to design a solution that would control not only one, but different variants of this virus. We did this in association with growers, researchers and laboratories. This resulted in V10, a solution that was embraced by participating growers. Today V10 is successfully used by a large number of growers every season.
